Today we have a few updates for our readers. We have been working hard behind the scenes this month. The website has been updated and the service provision has been expanded. We also visit the world's largest trade fairs, namely the SNEC PV Power Expo in Shanghai and Intersolar Europe in Munich.

We will have a little report later this month on the fairs and what we've all been through there. For now an update that further discusses the changes to our website and services.

The environmental contribution is now visible

Previously this was included in our product prices, but since July 2023 it has been determined that all environmental contributions must be visible on the invoice. But what exactly is the environmental contribution?

Importers and manufacturers who place solar panels and inverters on the Dutch market are partly responsible for recycling. These parties are affiliated with Stichting Open in the Netherlands, so are we. As of July 2023, the costs will be about 4 cents per kilogram of solar panels and 3 cents per kilogram of inverters. These costs are passed on to the installers and other parties. Ultimately, the end consumer pays the environmental contribution for his or her stuff.

Our website has been completely updated so that this is visible with every product. You will see the overview in your shopping cart and of course on the invoice.

But what if you order and install abroad?

Our neighbors in Belgium and Germany therefore do not have to pay a Dutch environmental contribution. As a foreign customer you are considered responsible as an importer of these products. Therefore, join a local organization such as LUCID in Germany or PV Cycle Belgium.

Substructure

An installer can still get great deals on solar panels, but without substructure it is impossible to work. We expect mounting systems for flat and pitched roofs soon. Keep an eye on the website and view our new collection soon.

Dress for the summer

The website has a new look, we want to make the various datasheets, installation manuals and products easier to find and in the coming weeks you will see that a lot of new content will be posted.

Additional shipping options

We can now offer additional shipping options for all installers. We understand if you are not present at the office every day. You can therefore opt for day and time-specific deliveries. It is also possible to reserve a rear forklift or have the goods delivered with a box truck instead of a combination truck.
